Setting up and using npm Feed on Azure Devops push and download node libraries.
Azure Artifacts helps you manage the software components you use by providing an intuitive UI, as well as helpful tools to ensure immutability and performance for the components you create or consume. In this video, we will show you some initial steps to help you get started, by creating a feed for an npm package to use in your Azure Pipeline. Speaker: Henry Dixon - Get Started: 🤍 - Documentation: 🤍
Have you decided to push your NPM packages to Azure Artifacts feeds? It's not hard. And if your CI/CD builds happen in the Azure DevOps dashboard, Azure Artifacts and NPM packages created after your pipeline runs successfully is a natural fit. Here's a quick example on how to create a simple React app, connect it to your Azure Artifacts feed, and push the artifact from your local dev environment and make it visible in the Azure DevOps dashboard. Be Scrumtuous! Always do continuous delivery and continuous deployment. And if you're using Azure, continuously delivery built software by using the Azure Artifacts repo. It's a virtuously Agile way to build your software.
We learn how to publish and consume angular libraries as npm packages using Azure DevOps Artifacts. Also we see how to create YAML based pipelines for publishing npm packages. We also take a look at Semantic versioning of npm packages. How to implement automatic semantic versioning using semantic-release npm package in YAML pipelines.
